It appears that initially the scheme provided for the compassionate appointment to the dependants of the employees of the Board who died while in service without prescribing any time limit for the submission of application and that the sons/unmarried daughters, widowed or deserted daughters, divorced daughters should not be more than 30 years of age and in the case of widow 40 years on the date of death of the Board employee.
