Owning a lot of lenses may make sense, since each has different strengths and may be ideal for different situations, but for travel carrying all of them generally does not. It is fairly common to bring along a few specialised lenses - perhaps a very fast lens for night shooting or a long telephoto for wildlife - that are not part of the everyday kit; they stay in the suitcase or the hotel safe most of the time and go into the camera bag only when they will be needed.

It sports a 64-megapixel primary, a 13-megapixel telephoto, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Many cameras come with a standard kit lens, a zoom lens (variable focal length) that covers the range from wide-angle to short-telephoto, perhaps 24-85 mm.

Along with the camera, Canon also unveiled four new RF lenses, two super telephoto EF lenses and one prime EF-M lens.

Excellent zoom performance, thanks to two telephoto lenses.

This effect, though advantageous for telephoto and macro photography (because it is capable of producing a tighter crop without the need to increase the actual focal length, or sacrifice the depth of field), is quite a disadvantage for wide angle photography, because a wide angle lens for 135 film essentially becomes a normal lens for the DX format.
