Each individual has the right to profess his religion.

The petitioner/Institution has not followed the prescribed procedure and Dr. S.N. Sahay, who has been appointed as the Principal of the petitioner/Institution does not possess the requisite minimum qualifications and eligibility for appointment on the post of Principal, as he does not possess the minimum teaching experience of fifteen years and never held post of Associate Profess/Professor in any college/Institute, in fact, had worked as the Guest Lecturer.

A religion undoubtedly has its basis in a system of beliefs and doctrine, which are regarded by those who profess religion to be conducive to their spiritual well being.

Older people who are involved with friends, physical activities, and lifelong learning profess joy at being alive.

The upshot of the above discussion clearly is that under the constitutional scheme mixing religion with State power is not permissible while freedom to practice, profess and propagate religion of one's choice is guaranteed.
