The Siwalik fossils include mastodons, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, sivatherium, a large four-horned ruminant, giraffe, horses, camels, bison, deer, antelope, gorillas, pigs, chimpanzees, orangutans, baboons, langurs, macaques, cheetahs, sabre-toothed cats, lions, tigers, sloth bear, Aurochs, leopards, wolves, dholes, porcupines, rabbits and a host of other mammals.

The park is known for its large mammals, including aardvark, baboon, African buffalo, caracal, cheetah, African bush elephant, hippopotamus, African leopard, West African lion, serval and warthog.

On pasture you have to spend at least 4-5 hours to maintain the giant weight of the hippopotamus.

Most of them were fictional creatures, although later some strange animals, such as the hippopotamus and echidna, found their real prototypes in the terrestrial fauna.

Fact 630- The only other mammals besides Hippopotamus that produce pink milk are Yaks, though in the Yak’s case, the pink milk is only temporary.

Cubs feed on mother's milk for about a year, from which the weight of a small hippopotamus grows very quickly, because milk has a high fat content.

Fact 628- Hippopotamus milk is bright pink, thanks to the fact that it contains Hipposudoric acid and Norhipposudoric acid, with the former being reddish and the latter being bright orange.
