Sumerian and Akkadian (including all ancient Assyrian and Babylonian dialects) were written in the cuneiform script from 3300 BCE onwards.

Properly edited cuneiform text fragment (including transliteration, translation, and grammar edition, at least 60% of points available must be awarded).

This course is addressed to students, who are interested in the language of inhabitants of ancient Mesopotamia, but who never had any opportunity to learn Akkadian grammar or cuneiform script.

Cuneiform writing exerted a strong influence on the art of ancient Mesopotamia, because with this style of writing, not only state documents and scientific treatises were created, but also works of art, religious and poetic texts, some of which have survived to this day.

Sumerian and Akkadian (including all Assyrian and Babylonian dialects) were written in the cuneiform script from 3300 BCE onwards.

The actual Pentagon planning document, released the day of the president’s Pentagon appearance, might as well have been written in cuneiform script or hieroglyphics.

If you look at your head, you will notice that it is cuneiform and small although the ears are somewhat large with respect to the head.
